The authorship of this one is explained in the blog!

With the absolute epicness of the connections auditions, only a blog with the the magical power of three is good enough to describe it. So here I am, Amy (paragraph 1) with my trusty friends Sam (paragraph 3) and Shelbie (paragraph 2) to explain it to you. Our evening began with us arriving and heading to a little room upstairs where we ran through our auditions in groups, for most of us, the first time we'd had chance to put it together. It was an enjoyable challenge to hear Leah over the noise of everyone else. Everyone was incredibly supportive of each other, despite some of us trying for the same part.

After we had spent some time rehearsing in the tiniest room we made our way down stairs to a much bigger room where we were still rehearing. At this point I was filled with nerves as I guess most of us were! On the bright side seeing everyone's reaction to me and Merv asking if they had a teddy made me forget about my nerves. We were ten called by Sarah to come through to the bigger room we sat down in a circle and listen to Sarah discuss information about connections. We played a quick game of HA and managed to get to 21 I think not sure.

All the different room sizes, kind of like Alice In Wonderland. The auditions went pretty well, despite some panicking and overrunning. Seeing everyone else’s scenes was a delight and one well worth the nerves of doing an audition, some funny, some serious and some thought provoking. This lead to a veritable reservoir of anticipation over the cast list... And just before 9:00 last night, teams Bobomamie, Tonace, Ambebiemy, Merlbie were born.
